Pityrodia bartlingii Woolly Dragon Endemic
This very hairy evergreen, perennial, endemic species was just coming into flower on the reserve which is situated in the centre of the usual range for this shrub. The flowers can be blue, pink or purple and it tends to grow on sandy soils.
The common name for plants in this genus refers back to a plant with which British settlers in Australia would have been familiar and the flowers of which have a similar shape: the foxglove.
