Pisum sativum Wild Pea
The Wild Pea has been gathered and cultivated for many centuries for the edible seeds and as fodder but still remains as Pisum sativum part of the natural flora. The flowers can be purple or white and the plant at is typically found in garrigue or waste ground throughout the Mediterranean region.
