Pimelea suaveolens   Scented Banjine

With a rather faint sweet fragrance, this shrub is described as "Spindly" in Florabase but the specimen photographed seemed quite robust to me. The flowers are always this pale yellow colour with light green sepals giving it an overall yellowy-green effect. It is used as a source of fragrance for essences and is sold as a garden plant.

Pimelea suaveolens is found in much of southern western Australian and also dotted around the hinterland near the Kalgoorlie area.
