Pimelea aeruginosa

Commonly known as Riceflowers, about 80 species in the Pimelea genus are found in Australia and New Zealand and some islands to the north of Australia. They are shrubs some of which which can be poisonous to livestock but some such as the pink Pimelea ferruginea can be cultivated for gardens.

Pimelea aeruginosa is found inland in the wheat belt from Geraldton to Esperance and as far into the hinterland as Kalgoorlie.
