Ophrys fusca Dull Ophrys
This plant was one of many quite similar orchids in a huge patch by the side of the path in this valley. Some were growing on open ground, some under shrubs but there were subtle difference between many suggesting perhaps that some hybridisation had taken place.
Taxonomy: All authorities seem to agree that the correct name for this species is Ophrys fusca Link.
