Onobrychis saxatilis Rock Sainfoin
Unsurprisingly the Rock Sainfoin was flourishing amongst some large boulders s but they were perched at the top of a sheer cliff at one end of a spectacular valley upon which the Santa Maria di Pulsano monastery was perched.
O. saxatilis is found in France and Spain as well as Italy.
