Narcissus flavus
There have been many recent changes to the systematic names of the Narcissus genus and this one is the correct name according to Plantlist. It is more often known as Narcissus fernandesii particularly in gardening publications. It is a quite small, fragrant daffodil with very thin leaves like a Jonquil which flowers in winter or early spring throughout Spain and Portugal. The systematic name translates as Yellow Daffodil which is not terribly useful as a substitute English name.
