Myosotis arvensis Field Forget-me-not CC D N
This is a very common forget-me-not but one of a group which look very like each other and which grow in similar habitats. There is at least one sub species which Stace mentions without conviction and this has flowers which can be confused with M. sylvatica. This one, the usual one found, is hairy and has flowers less than 5 mm in diameter. This plant is to be found almost anywhere in England, Wales Scotland or Ireland with a few exceptions in the northern Scottish Highlands.
