Mesomelaena tetragona Semaphore Sedge
Among the gloriously exotic flowers of a Western Australian spring there was this species which seemed familiar. It looked like a member of the and it was but instead of growing in a wet habitat it was flourishing in the dry gravelly poor soil typical of the bush.
