Melaleuca longistaminea No English name
Restricted to a relatively small area near Mullewa around the Geraldton Sandplains area, this is an exceptional shrub with lots of green, occasionally yellowish flowers and small, oval, mucronate leaves. The flowers are spaced irregularly along the woody parts of the shrub rather than on new growth and as the specific name suggests has long stamens protruding from the brush-like flowers.
