Luzula nivea Snowy Wood-rush
Unlike many Luzula species this alpine plant can tolerate both shade and full sunlight. It is not surprising therefore that with its attractive white flowers (here they are in bud, about to flower) it is a plant sold by nurseries for gardeners. It is also known as Lesser Wood-rush.
