Lotus subbiflorus Hairy Bird's-foot-trefoil RR DD N
This very hairy annual can't really be mistaken for ordinary Lotus corniculatus Bird's-foot-trefoil when you inspect it closely and the only possible confusion could occur at sites along the south coast of England and in the Channel Islands where it is not uncommon.
There are a few other sites in the south of Ireland and in Pembrokeshire but otherwise L. subbiflorus is restricted to the extreme south of England.
