Linum bienne Pale Flax
I see this plant often enough but it has proved very difficult to photograph. The stems and leaves are very thin and the slightest breeze cause the whole plant to waft around making decent photographs almost impossible. The very thin leaves help to distinguish it from the cultivar Linum usisatissimum which has wider three-veined leaves.
L. bienne is found in north America on the west coast but is predominantly a common European plant.
