Limonium vulgare Common Sea-lavender C DD N
This is a plant of the salt marshy areas near the sea. It has quite large leaves which are supposed to be pinnately veined according to Stace. This plant can be confused with Limonium humile (Lax-flowered Sea-lavender) the flowering habit of which is much more spread out but otherwise is a similar plant.
Limonium vulgare is often found on the coasts of England and Wales with some in southern Scotland and none in Ireland.
