Lechenaultia formosa Red Leschenaultia Endemic
In spite of the common name, Lechenaultia formosa flowers can be red, orange, yellow or cream. It is quite common in the far south west of Australia and throughout the wheat belt. The first flowers we found were out quite early in Spring, in August in the woodland rides of Dryandra forest.
