Lamium hybridum Cut-leaved Dead-nettle C DD N
This isn't as common as L. purpureum (Red dead-nettle) but because of the similarity of the two Lamium species plant this one is easy to overlook. The leaves always have a serrated edge and sometimes the flowers are few and don't open.
L. hybridum is found in manuy parts of England but reciords get fewer towards northen England. It is not very common beyond the Scottish industrial central belt. In Wales it is most often found near the coast and similarly in Ireland it is commoner near the coast than the centre.
