Lamium garganicum Large Red Dead-nettle
This large dead nettle was in some ways similar to our British Red Dead-nettle but many times the size hence its other colloquial name Giant Dead-nettle. It was fairly common in this part of Italy both as a wayside and as a woodland plant.
