Labichea punctata whole Labichea punctata close

To Western Australian botanical newbies (me) this looked at first glance like a Hibbertia but they usually have five petals and this one was consistently four-petaled. The very long reticulated leaves helped the identification.

It is quite common along the Swan Coastal Plain from around Perth to just above the south coast and records extend a reasonable way inland too.
