Juniperus communis ssp communis Common Juniper C DD N
Juniper has a northern preference being very common in the Scotland particularly the north west. It is found in Wales and southern England but is infrequent in central England. It tolerates both acidic and basic soils and has quite small male and female flowers on different plants.
