Iris caucasica Caucasian Iris Endemic
We found very few of these small Irises at the snow line above the edge of the crater. It is found wild in Eastern Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. It is only a few inches tall so is a favourite for alpine gardeners in Europe, including the UK.
