Hakea anadenia No English name Endemic
anadenia means without glands in the flowers,
a characteristic a typical botanist would probably overlook but the
special shape of the leaves, with distinct venation both the length
of the leaf and horizontally, giving them a net-veined (reticulate)
look, is also a defining character.
Hakea anadenia is found around the Moore River/Eneabba and Lesueur Sandplain area with one or two outposts elsewhere but the majority is in habitats about half way between Perth and Geraldton and nowhere else.
