Fritillaria lusitanica Iberian Endemic
Fritillaria lusitanica is described as an Iberian endemic, found only in Portugal and Spain but there have been recent reports of occasional sightings in Morocco, so perhaps its endemistic status is under threat. It is quite a tall species reaching up to 50 cm with alternate leaves and slightly mottled brownish purplish stripe on the petals.
