Filago minima   Small Cudweed C DD N

Filago minima

This is a very little plant and as you won't be surprised to learn from the wonderful way it blends with the stony ground on which it grows, that I trod on quite a few before noticing there was anything actually growing. It has the mealy foliage typical of the Cudweed family and brown flowers which you can just about see.

F. mimina is found scattered throughout the British Isles with good concentrations of records in the south east of England, east Anglia, south Wales, around Inverness and in the north if Ireland.
