Dryandra nobilis   Golden Dryandra Endemic

Dryandra nobilis whole Dryandra nobilis close

This is a plant of the eucalypt woodland and unlike some of the other shrubs this can be a giant up to 4 metres tall and extremely wide. The golden blooms are large of many can be seen buried in the typical pinnfitid foliage of the species. It is now known as Banksia nobilis but the common name still tells us that it was once a member of the Dryandra genus which has been subsumed into Banksia.
