Dampiera altissima Tall Dampiera Endemic
Assuming I've identified this plant correctly this is a good example of how confusing the English name can be. Tall Dampiera according to Florabase can be decumbent as well as tall - up to 0.5 metres tall which is not very much taller than other species in this genus. It does have remarkably tomentose leaves and stems and is common in the area. It could be Dampiera tomentosa (Felted dampiera) I suppose - a better name for a species which looks like this. Dampiera tomentosa is far less common in this area however.
