Conospermum boreale Endemic

Conospermum boreale whole Conospermum boreale close

Conospermum species are generally know as "Smoke Bushes" because en masse large numbers of them just look like a smoky haze accross the landscape. And they really do. This one has tiny red flowers which along with the basal leaves are quite distinctive enough for an identification.

Florabase records are mostly near the coast and only a little way inland from Perth to just short of Shark Bay.
