Cistus symphytifolius Canary Cistus Endemic
This was a very common shrub along the rides of the Pine forest above the clouds but it had only just started to flower and we saw very few with more than one bloom. This endemic shrub, known as Amagante locally, can be quite hairy on the stems and on the leaves but not always.
