Carex distans Distant Sedge C DD N
Although not always found near the coast, this sedge is often associated with coastal habitats. It can be difficult to distinguish from Carex binervis which is tall, erect and has a good separation between the fruits just like C. distans.
C. distans is found along the coasts of England Scotland, Wales and Ireland and inland in southern England.
