Campanula constantinii Endemic
This bell flower is endemic to Greece and found on only a few islands including Euboea. In this case it was on cliffs on one side of Mount Dhirfi. Euboea is the second largest Greek island and separated from the Greek mainland only by a very narrow strip of water: the Euripus strait. We crossed to Euboea from the Greek mainland by minibus and soon caught sight of snow capped mountains of which Mount Dhirfi (5,700 feet) was one.
