Bossiaea eriocarpa Common Brown Pea Endemic
Many of the fifty endemic species of the Bossiaea genus are concentrated in the far south west of Australia but B. eriocarpa, the flowers of which can be yellow, brown or red, is found commonly through western Australia from Kalbarri down as far as Albany. It was too early to find any fruit which as the name suggests is very hairy.
It can be pollinated by insects or birds.
