Boronia crenulata   Aniseed Boronia

Boronia crenulata whole Boronia crenulata branch Boronia crenulata close

This is possibly ssp crenulata but identifying species is hard enough in Western Australia without attempting sub species. The English name Aniseed Boronia is also applied to Boronia galbraithiae.

This is one of the Boronia genus which can be reasonably easily propagated from cuttings which is good news, because like many native Australian species, it is a beautiful small shrub well suited as a garden plant. Even if viable seed is collected, it will be difficult to use as it is resistant to germination.
