Billardiera heterophylla Australian Bluebell Endemic
Previously known as Sollya heterophylla (and still known as that by too many nurseries who seem to specialise in naming plants incorrectly) and in English as Bluebell Creeper this is actually a climbing plant. At this site the Kangaroos love to nibble the new shoots so they act as topiarists keeping the plant in a rounded shape.
It is not widespread as a native plant in south western Australia but has become so popular amongst gardeners world wide that there are probably more species as garden escapes. The native plant is distributed sparsely in small patches form Perth southwards and then eastwards to Esperance.
