Berteroa inacana

This European introduction is easily missed growing as it often does amongst taller vegetation. This plant is actually a crucifer with the petals split half-way or more to the base so the flowers appear to have 6 to 8 petals. The flowers are borne on an erect single greyish pubescent stem (not shown here). Distribution is concentrated around the London area with little in Wales Scotland or Ireland.
