Astragalus bourgaeanus No English name
When we first arrived at this location which was supposed to be good for rare wild flowers, I was very doubtful. The valley was a steep sided gorge in the desert climate of southern Spain. There was no sign that rivers ran along the valley and the soil was very dry. In spite of the inhospitable terrain, we actually found quite a few interesting and rare wild flowers including Euzomodendron bourgaeanum but only this one specimen of A. bourgeanus.
