Asterolasia drummondii Gairdner Range Starbush Endemic
This is a medium sized shrub which grows near Gairdner Road in the Lesueur National Park north of Perth in Western Australia. It is so restricted in its range that it has a Priority 4 (Rare, near Threatened) indication on Florabase. The attractive white flowers with yellow stamens were present in large numbers on this particular bush which we seem to have found at exactly the right time.
