Aphanes arvensis   Parsley Piert CC DD N

Aphanes arvensis

This is another of those small procumbent plants with very small flowers. This plant has the other disadvantage for the photographer of having yellow-green flowers. I tried the best I could to take a decent photo of the flowers and failed. I just can't make out the flowers well enough either through the view finder or on the screen to tell whether or not they are in focus. You can just about make out a flower structure in the topmost flower of the photo.

It is found throughout mainland Britain and Ireland.
