Anigozanthos rufus Red Kangaroo Paw Endemic
I had thought that this species had only red flowers as its name suggests but looking at the record in Florabase it can have purple to red to yellow flowers. This one only had one floret open but generally it can flower any time for August to January.
It is found mostly along the southern coastal plain and a little way inland from about Albany to beyond Cape Arid.
