We found this rather splendid introduced European brome growing in a wall but when I came to look it up there was no mention of it under Bromus or Bromopsis. The taxonomic meddlers have been at it again and made it an Anisantha.

It is recorded mostly from southern England and south Wales but only occasionally elsewhere.
