Anemone trifolia Three-leaved Anemone
Looking remarkably like the flowers of our common British Anemone nemorosa (Wood Anemone), this low growing plant is differentiated most easily by the trifoliate leaves. In Anemone nemorosa the trifoliate leaves are further divided into leaflets. Found throughout Europe and even as far north as Finland, this perennial plant will grow at altitudes of up to 6,000 feet.
