Androsace chamaejasme   Ciliate Rock Jasmine

Androsace chamaejasme whole Androsace chamaejasme close

Like quite a few of these Androsace species, this plant has flowers which turn pinkish on maturity and this one was clearly past its prime flowering time. The flowers of many are white and it is the leaves which differentiate the species. A. chamaejasme is supposed to have lanceolate/spathulate leaves with long hairs at the margins - hence Ciliate Rock Jasmine.
