Agrimonia eupatoria   Agrimony CC DD N

Agrimonia eupatoria

This is a common wayside plant which you would expect to find on roadside verges and grassy cliffs such as this. It has been used in herbal medicine for a long time and claims are made for its curative properties for liver, gall bladder and digestion properties. You can make a sweetly scented tea with an infusion of the roots.

It is very common throughout England, Wales and Ireland but not so often seen in the highlands and far North of Scotland.
