Viola kitaibeliana Dwarf Pansy
In Britain this is a very rare plant, growing in only a few places such as the Scillies and on cliffs of the Channel islands. It is as the name suggests very small and so is easily missed. Here in Turkey the flowers were much larger and mostly blue while the British flowers were yellow, blue and mixed.
It is common in Spain and Greece and dotted here and there in Italy, France, around the Black Sea and in the Caucasus.
