Vinca major var oxyloba Greater Periwinkle I
This is a Mediterranean introduction which has escaped in some parts of the British Isles. It is mostly found near habitation. Ordinary V. major has escaped successfully into the wild, particularly in southern England, but Vinca major var oxyloba has slightly different shaped petals as well as being a paler blue colour.
