Stellaria neglecta Greater Chickweed C DD N
This does look like a chickweed but a tall one sometimes 20 or 30 cm above the ground. The distinctive identification feature is the long pedicels (flower stalks) which droop when the flower has finished. It also has 10 stamens which you can just about see in the photo.
Much commoner in the west of England and Wales than the south or east except for east Anglia, Stellaria neglecta records diminish as you go north. There is little in Scotland and almost none in Ireland
