Stackhousia monogyna whole Stackhousia monogyna close

Named after the 18th century English botanist John Stackhouse, this plant can be found in many parts of Australia and is very common throughout western Australia. It is a popular garden plant as it is drought and shade tolerant and can easily be raised from seed with little pre-treatment. The pink flowers in the background are Schoenia cassiniana.
