Sowerbaea laxiflora Sowerbaea laxiflora close

Named after the 18th century English botanist and illustrator James Sowerby, Sowerbaea laxiflora provided a splash of purple in late winter and very early spring but by mid September there wasn't much left in good flowering condition.

Sowerbaea laxiflora is common all along the coastal strip from beyond Geraldton to the south coast up to Albany.
