Sisymbrium strictissimum Perennial Rocket I
Sisymbrium strictissimum is a European introduction which has been lurking around this old churchyard for some years possibly escaping from nearby Kew Gardens. It has very distinctive fruits which are bunched and top the plant like a sweeping brush stuck in the ground.
Only a little of this has escaped but the commonest place to find it is in London. it is absent from Scotland and Wales.
