Salix fragilis Crack Willow CC DD N
Longish leaves, glossy on top but duller underneath with serrated edges growing on a large tree (as tall as 25m) indicate that you could be looking at Salix fragilis but its name comes from the fact that twigs are easy to snap off. It is found throughout England, Wales, southern Scotland and Ireland.
