Rumex rupestris Shore Dock RR DD N
The large swollen tubercles on the tepals of this dock are typical and very obvious without using a hand lens. This is a plant which is scarce but in New Flora of the British Isles third edition has been given a less rare status than before (RR as opposed to RRR).
Apart from sites in Anglesey Rumex rupestris is confined to the southern coasts of Wales and England where it tends to grow near the sea. It is not found in Scotland or Ireland.
