Rosa sherardii Sherard's Downy-rose C DD N
Roses are best identified with knowledge of fruit and leaf as well as other characters because many are pinkish like this one and the flowers don't really tell you much. This one keyed out as R. sherardii wihich is quite common in Scotland and throughout Britian and Ireland but not very ofrten found in south eastern England.
